Spotlight: Kat’s journey
As you can see LGBTQIA+ client Kat had very thick and dense facial hair. She is not on hormone treatment and is of Jamaican/Italian descent. Together with 150+ hours of electrolysis over a year and some marathon sessions, we have managed to tame the growth! As of March 2024, currently we are meeting fortnightly for 2 hours to keep on top of the growth and maintenance and tackling other body areas!

Bex is FANTASTIC. I've had 4 different Electrolysists over the years and not only were they 3 times quicker than any of the others but they were significantly more precise and managed to do so with much less pain than all the others.
I have chronic pain and they managed to accommodate my comfort needs in regards to comfort. They managed to set realistic expectations for me as well as explain why they were doing certain things which aided in feeling comfortable during the sessions.
They were amazing company during the treatment, Its almost as if I'd blink and the session would be almost over and significant sections of hair just gone.
They were able to give great aftercare, as well as advise me on what I could do in between sessions to aid recovery.
All in all, they’re great at their job, enough so I have a lot more areas booked than I initially could have dreamed to have done, and am incredibly happy with the sections completed so far.

I have been having electrolysis for several sessions with Bex, and it’s been a genuinely amazing and life changing experience. I’m so grateful to her and her incredible work. I have PCOS (polycyclic ovary syndrome) which is a hormonal issue that means I grow a lot of thick facial hair. As a cis woman, this has given me a lot of shame and dysphoria, and I was having to shave my face every day. It made me feel horrible and not myself, and so I started meeting Bex for her electrolysis service on my face, chin and neck.
I was a bit scared but Bex put me totally at ease - she’s one of those genuinely warm humans you can tell is just a lovely person. She knows her stuff (I’ve seen the textbooks) and she goes out of her way to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible. She’s also really funny - the only thing I’ve ever struggled with is keeping still when giggling together!
Since our sessions the hair has thinned out so I only shave about once a week now - we have a few sessions left but the impact has been huge. Thankyou so much Bex, If you’re looking for electrolysis with someone knowledgeable, efficient and kind then definitely go to her! ❤️
